A browser cache stores copies of pages, images, videos, and other content that you viewed in the browser. It reduces the number of requests to sites: if the page you want to view is already in the cache, the browser instantly downloads it from your hard drive.

Clear the cache regularly to free up memory on your hard disk and prevent pages from being displayed incorrectly, for example, in an outdated design.

  1. In the browser panel at the bottom of the screen, click .
  2. Select Clear browsing data.
  3. Select the parameters and click OK.

  1. Click (iPhone) in the browser panel at the bottom of the screen or (iPad) at the top of the screen.
  2. Select Settings → Clear browsing data.
  3. Select Cached images and files.
  4. At the top right, click Clear.
